Grand
Hall
|
| |

One of the most unique features of the house is the grand hall. The
hallway is 55x12 and contains
dog ear trim and oversize crown molding.
|
| |
|
|
| |

Original cypress floors, thirteen foot ceilings and original molding
can be found throughout the house. Relax in a reproduction antique
sofa or the two comfortable, red patterned chairs and take in the
charm of years past.
Take a copy of The American Cemetery book, and enjoy a stroll through
the American Cemetery, the oldest cemetery in the Louisiana Purchase.

Enjoy
a full-course breakfast in the same room breakfasts have been served
for more than one hundred and fifty years. The gypsy red fireplace,
a thirteen foot ceiling featuring a beautiful chandelier, original
cypress floors and views of the American Cemetery will make you
feel as if you have traveled back in time.

After
breakfast, relax in a rocking chair on one of two fifty-foot galleries
which are located at the front and back of the house.
